React Job: Full Stack Engineer

VTEX Developer – Mexico, LATAM, India

We’re looking for a junior developer to learn VTEX Commerce Platform. Your role will consist of developing e-commerce sites for our customers. We will teach you how to develop with the platforms.

Communication

• Good communication skills
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English
• Need to be available to work/ interact with the team in the time frame of 8-5 Central Minneapolis Central Standard time

Managerial

• Responsibility of own tickets
• Work together with Project Manager

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Graphic Design or equivalent
• Technical Requirement Understanding
• Estimation capability
• Problem Solver
• Team player
• Organized and detail oriented
• English, Spanish, and Hindi are our main languages of communication, however reading/writing/speaking in English is required to communicate with our customers.

Coding & Technology

• Experience with Vtex for 2-3 years
• Experience with Javascript, ReactJS, and React Hooks
• Experience with NodeJs and NoSQL databases
• At least 2 years' experience in building user interfaces using HTML 5, CSS3, and consuming JSON web services via AJAX
• Stylesheets CSS, LESS or SASS
• GraphQL
• Frameworks like Bootstrap, Slim, Laravel, Cakephp, or Codeigniter
• Experience working with Agile Methodologies
• Experience with Angular, VUE, Python
• Working knowledge of GIT

Misc

• Able to deploy code on dev and on production
• Learn new things when Idle
• Follow ticket workflow as per Project Management Tool
• Proper ticket comments
